At least you have the chance to buy your tickets, I don't even know where to go to.
Me and Clare are waiting for the tour schedule on Internet in the hope that the show is coming to Glasgow and than we can go together.
We keep our fingers crossed.

Yeah I know, I just feel bad for the person who took time out to drive there for me, I should have checked the opening times before they left :fool:

I hope you and Clare get to see the play and you don't have to wait too long knowing whether it will be going to Glasgow.

At some point in the future, as many of us should get together. Location & time, I guess, is for discussion.

If my memory serves me correctly, I'm sure I bought my tickets for The Unexpected Guest about November(time) although I'll be checking the theatre websites etc on a daily basis between now and then. Buying tickets for Sleuth will all depend on whether Simon remains in the cast for the full tour schedule, I was looking forward to TUG for months when I found out that Jack Ellis was playing Simon's role at my theatre. I will say that Jack Ellis was very good right enough to give him credit.

Just had confirmed that the tour dates have been brought forward than originally advised so have updated the first post. I still don't know if he's doing the whole tour however we do have an an end date of Simon's tour (roughly) so if any dates come up after this date we'll know it will be without Simon

Still no new locations known.

Could someone confirm my maths (ie 16 weeks from the 4th?)

16 weeks after 04/02/08 is 26/05/08.

But it's whole weeks ie Sunday the last day so it's the 25th not the 26th (the Monday)

I really hope that Simon remains in Sleuth 'till it reaches Scotland next year, hopefully he'll give his fans further north than the north east of England a chance to see him live without having the expense or inconvenience of maybe having to travel. I believe his last theatre performance while touring with The Unexpected Guest was Billingham.

If I'm being honest, I'm not really interested in the play if Simon ain't going to be in it.

Yeah - we love travelling in this house. Besides I grew up in Windsor so it is close to my heart. Been to the Theatre Royal there many times and love it!!! Just to give you all an idea of how mad we are we just returned from a holiday where we drove from Cambridge to the Czech Republic in in 2 days, spent 1 day there and drove back!!! :) Yes, we are mad - especially considering we also had our 18 month old baby with us. But it was great fun and I can't wait til 26 Jan!!!!

PS also that w/e is the anniversary of the day I first met my fiance! So we are going to have a w/e away! ;)

I'm still waiting impatiently for news on the tour schedule for Sleuth, I don't understand why the publicity material is out for just 2 locations and the rest of us are left to wonder.

I've read dates for other shows for August 2008 which is well beyond the Sleuth schedule. Come on promoter, give us an indication PLEASE (x million)

We've been very lucky and have found out very early - full dates for The Unexpected Guest wasn't released till around November (the play started in January, like this one), so I'm not expecting to see more/full dates till October at least

At least this way people can keep checking with they're local theaters and let the rest of us know if it's showing anywhere else
