Simon and Susan give an emotional interview, of Simon's 3 year private battle with cancer

News of The World Interview

I have my suspicions for a while now.

Edit: Another article

Daily Mail

I've let Simon know the fans are behind him

I'm absolutely gutted about this news but hopefully medical expertise and prayers will pull Simon & Susan and their extended family and friends through this. We love you Simon, keep fighting on.

This has hit members of Michael Praed's Fanfare hard too. Many of us saw and met Simon while he was touring in 'Sleuth'. We think the world of him and wish Simon and Susan all the love and support they can use right now.

You CAN beat this, Simon. You ARE beating this.

If love & affection can be a cure, Simon will regain full health in due course - it's a winnable battle that we're fully supportive of him in.

C'mon Simon, keep the faith and remain positive. 'Team Simon' are fully supportive.

Horrible news.

However, with love, support and the will to fight I know Simon can beat this. Best wishes to Simon and Susan. Thinking of them both.

I am shocked and saddened by the news and both Simon and Susan are in my prayers whilst they go through these trying times. You can see how much Simon is going to fight it and is clearly not going to be beaten by this. I wish Simon all the best and shall be thinking about him lots.

I am a registered nurse with a doctorate in public health and wellness and I am optimistic about Simon because I was given 6 months to live when I was diagnosed with lung cancer 33 years ago and used an alternative approach and at age 77 I am not only alive but free of all chronic illnesses and medications. I also have a radio show and recently completed a 4 1/2 month series on cancer. Two of the physicians I interviewed use alternative treatments including the ones I used (one in the USA and one in Mexico). I also recently located for a woman in Poland with cancer an M.D. and N.P. in Spain (who is German) who uses the same treatments. . I have been impressed with all of them and believe they could help Simon. My interviews are available on my website following broadcast on BBS Radio so all of the cancer interviews are there for anyone to listen to. I am also available by email or telephone to help in any way I can--I do have an ebook on my treatment regime that I send out for free to others with cancer and I usually hear from 8 or 10 cancer patients monthly who are asking for help. I am able to refer them to the approopriate physicians and also recommend books on nutrition for cancer, herbs to supplement traditional or alternative treatment, encouragement etc based upon my radio interviews,. reading, contacts, and nursing and public health background. My website is: www.HolisticHealthShow.com
so I hope you can get a message to Simon because there is help and hope for lung cancer and as a nurse I always want to share my knowledge with others. Many of you have sent him prayers and that is one of the most effective treatments for cancer. My best to Simon and his family, Carl
