Yes it does.

Does being a God-mother mean I have to be responsible?

Well that's a relief :D

Need to buy another new mouse - this one is giving me motion sickness - I scroll down and it bounces up first then down - been doing it a few weeks now - makes sorting even Simon cappies nauseating unsure.gif

I've felt better, my sister's cats are God knows where - she's on holiday & doesn't know - plus the fact football results were rubbish today so I'm actually looking forward to Monday hoping it's a better week than weekend.

Hopefully I'll find out when I can get a holiday from work since the time off I requested for June/July was rejected. :(

Yes, also having an adopted child is a large responsibility

Feeling rather sentimental towards Harry Harper, I've been watching episodes of Casualty stored in my Skybox - Harry the character & Simon the actor are just phenomenal. So many branches to the character portrayed brilliantly by Simon - I can't believe it's approaching 2 years since Harry departed Holby E.D.

Happy Happy Happy I have the day off work and the kids have had the day off school, and we have had lots off fun playing in the snow and sledging.

:( to hear that Simon isn't feeling too good, a gigantic :grouphug: to you Simon. Let's hope it's a short term setback and that battling qualities will shine through. Medical expertise and prayers can also work wonders.

I'm beginning to get excited about my jaunt to Oz, only 4 weeks tomorrow and I'm offski.

Just got back from Poland, where I visited Auschwitz, the Saltmines and Wawel Castle, it's such an amazing place, I stayed in the Old Jewish district and didn't want to go home.

It's a mixture of disbelief & sadness on the day we loose Simon from this world, it's definitely a poorer place without him. The consolation is that he died in the arms of the love of his life and the physical & mental battles of this horrible disease can no longer pain him. Somehow, I'm managing to smile and recall all the fantastic memories Simon helped to create over the past 3 years or so.

Gone but NEVER forgotten Corky.

very narked with BBC news.

watched the 10 oclock news and nothing about Simon's death even when it went on to the newspaper review it shown a full picture of one of the papers now to me I would have been very distressed to find out he died and he was not even mentioned.

i know he was couple of hours earlier.

Warmed by the words of Bette Midler's 'Wind beneath my wings' which are wholly applicable to Simon  - one line in particular: "Did you ever know you're my hero?" I hope he appreciated how we all felt about him.

Simon has been diverted by a higher power to walk an alternate path, I'm feeling really lucky to have had Simon contribute so significantly to my life the past few years. Corky, forever a legend of stage and screen.

Feeling strange and still sad. Two working weeks have gone now since our Simon has left. Strange feeling of the missing. Still checking in here, looking for news. But there can't be no good news now. But still looking forward for each updates, with a blessed thought for Corky.
Thanks for the good time.
On november 19th-22th, i will visit my friend Clare in Glasgow, someone i would never have met without you ...(and without this site !! Many tanks Shelli!)
Happy memories of Simon to you all

:beg: that the weather conditions start improving soon, it took me 3 hours to make an 8 mile journey home from work this afternoon which usually takes 25 minutes (max) so I wasn't too chuffed.

In general, tho, I'm alright - trying to embrace the spirit of the approaching festive season. It will be tinged with the sadness of Simon being no longer with us but the happy memories will warm the cockles of my heart

I am glad the snow has almost melted here, it caused chaos like you say. hour and 45 minutes to do a ten minute journey from university to the main road. A total of 5 hours to Leicester...
I am looking forward to xmas, as I get to go home from University, which is a depressing place, and see my friends and family.
