LOL. I was reading the reviews and it had that picture on it. I can't remember which site though, I've looked at so many. I never even did an image search.

Oooh that's mean, leave the poor man alone, the charater has just come back from the Gulf (which is hot) so is expected to look a little tanned!

I had a really good time, the play was fantastic. I was sat right at the front about 1 meter from the stage.
I'm going to see it again next month. :D

Again!

I would go again if I had the chance, most places now require a fair amount of travel which, as I don't drive, cost a lot going by train!

^^ Yeah I've never really liked him before, not a fan, but I thought he did really well and was believeable

It's gonna be about a 7 hour round trip me, so I'm either brave or daft lol.

I think with Dean, the reason he played the part so well is cos he kinda looks that that anyway, don't you think?

Dean was amazing in his role and was very good, what I can honestly say is the only thing I disliked was the fact that the women didn't project their voices which meant I didn't always hear what was said...not helped by those sat behind me whispering! I did at one point think I was guna go even more deaf the way Simon was shouting on stage  but at least I could hear him!

Well I couldn't go to Wolves and not see the play again, wasn't too fussed about seat so was in the top balcony(needed my glasses), not a brilliant view but gave me a new perspective.

I was asked had the play changed between the two versions I saw (about 5 weeks between them)

I think the main difference about how I viewed things was due to where I was sat, 4th row in Windsor and 1st row 3rd tire in Wolves. In Wolves I had the chance to see the play more as a whole, rather than just focusing on one part of the stage. The audience in Windsor was a lot smaller and sat closer together, and the reactions were different, where they laughed in at one bit it Windsor they didn't in Wolves and visa versa.

Also knowing exactly what happens at the end chages how you see charaters, tho I did have my suspicion when first watching it, and also gives you a chance to pick up on any clues you might have missed.

So to anyone who has since this twice, what where the differences between the two, did you see things the second time you missed the first. Did you still jump? (I did even tho I was expecting it)

Although I enjoyed both performances I must say that when you spend two and half hours watching it through someone else’s hair you tend to be a little disgruntled by the experience, however I did enjoy it just as much.
I was sat much further back than the first time, but then considering I had a front row seat, anywhere was going to be further back
I did find it slightly harder to hear sitting further back which wasn’t helped by the constant chattering of an elderly lady who clearly didn’t have a clue the whole auditorium could here her conversation, which I will add was not at all interesting, even Simon looked to be annoyed with her from the stage. :shout:

I agree with Shelli, I did tend to watch different parts of the stage the second time more than I did the first, but that was mainly due to the fact I could only see half the stage because of a rather large albeit very thin head of hair, which was impeding my view somewhat.
I won’t mention that the lady sitting next to me fell asleep! :notme:

I must confess to jumping at the beginning, but only when they restarted the play again from the beginning. Simon chose to restart the play as there was far too much noise coming from both front and back stage. See, if you make too much noise it puts even the best/most experienced actors off.
