I saw the play first at Windsor and then at Woking, I too did still jump the second time round. When I first watched it, I didn't suspect who it was until right at the end, up until then I thought it was Dean's character. Knowing the ending the second time round, I saw Simon's character completely differently.
At Windsor, when the ending was revealed, the audience let out a loud 'gasp' and I was expecting the same at Woking but there was complete silence to my surprise, perhaps they worked out who it was.

I've re-opened this as I'm sure we have people here now who've seen this but not discussed it at the time as they weren't members

Seen as it was re-opened...

I went 19th April '07. Agesssss ago.

Simon was the first member of the Casualty cast I'd met and I was so nervous.

I went with my best friends Jo and Sarah.

I don't remember much apart from being sat - row C - eagerly awaiting Simon to come on stage. I remember squeezing Jo's hand when heard his first, before he came on stage and then being totally astounded at seeing Simon in such a different role. (I'd never seen him in anything else at this point). I loved every minute!

I was very nervous for meeting him. I'd PM'd Kirsty for some tips actually - which was how we started talking. :P So I can thank Simon for that, I love my Kirsty. :)

We practically ran out of the theatre - it was just me and Jo now - and we stood out in the rain waiting for him. Again, we heard him before he came out, and we got very nervous but Simon just came out and was lovely!

I remember people asking us who we were waiting for and we answered "Simon" in unison which made other members of the cast laugh.

We got a photo and didn't really talk about anything interesting and then left. He was lovely. I wouldn't be here right now, with the friends I have if Simon wasn't the lovely person he is. I have so much to thank him for, not that I would I think I'd feel a bit silly. :P

So yes, late review.

I loved the play but having seen Sleuth.... I'd give it a 7/10. Simon was brilliant though, as always. :)
