I've ordered No Greater Love, The Jazz Singer and Up Close and Personal from Amazon so I'm looking forward to watching those films.

I watched Series 6 of Still Game, the Scottish comedy with Jack & Victor this week. Has anyone else see it when it was on BBC2 recently?

I watched Straw dogs last Saturday.
I can't say that I really liked the movie.
He was to me a bit boring. Only the action scenes at the end where Dustin Hoffman fights to those 5 men, that was to me the best part.
I wanted to turn the movie off about 10 minutes after it had started. I did not but it is not my thing.
I must admit that the actors played their roles brilliantly.

The last dvd I watched was fonejacker, the Channel 4 series. I know everyone's sense of humour is different but I think the crank calls are really funny. Mr Doovde and his abbreviations is fantastic.

Fonejacker is hilarious!

Kerri, I'd never seen it until I heard Graham in my work imitating Mr Doovde & George Agdgdgwndo. He'd actually phoned up 118118 trying to get the phone number for KooFcA - KFC for those who don't know where I'm coming from.

I watched No Greater Love this evening and Simon is gorgeous as Patrick Kelly. Loved his hair although, quite obviously, his perfect physique was his most endearing quality - pleased to see that in 11 years, nothing has changed.

I thought it was a really good movie, probably not one I would've thought of watching if Simon wasn't in it.

I'm sure you'll enjoy drooling over our Simon in this film, he's definitely not in it long enough. Apart from Simon starring in it, it is actually an enjoyable film.

Not a dvd, but cinema- just got back from seeing "thirty days of night" it was supposed to be scary. I spent most my time laughing about the fact the 'leader' of the vampires looked like martin clunes and the guy running from them looked like kane dingle from emmerdale! It was a bit jumpy, but the person I was with labeled it "one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen!"
I liked it!

Yesterday I watched episode 2 of series 3 of Blood in the Wire. I ordered the DVD's containing series 3 and 4. They are very good. Robson Green is playing his role as psychologist Tony Hill very good. I love those series.

Hi,

the last DVD was "Born to be wild" with Tim Allen, John Travolta and some other. It was funny but I saw some movies with Tim Allen or his Sitcom that are better.
