I might do my local one for 2009 on June 7th since walking the route is an option, I just need the inspiration to get fit enough. Easier said than done in these miserable wintry times.

Me & my sister have signed up for the Glasgow event on Sunday June 6th, we'll probably just walk the 5k. My chosen charity could be the Roy Castle Lung Cancer organisation, quite appropriate considering Simon's illness.

Once I receive the welcome pack from Race For Life, I'll look into that further.

This seems a wonderful initiative. Here in Belgium there are also numerous activities to sponsor cancer research. Since our band Noons exist, we already played at 2 festivals to raise money. For such event we love to play for free.
Well, I will support you all in your races.

I'm gonna make up some posters and put them up in various places and badger people for some generosity plus talk nicely to my employer and supporters club.
