So I went to watch Martyn Joseph in Manchester last night and it was by far the most amazing gig I have ever been to. It was only a small venue about 300 seats, all full, He is an acoustic/folk singer songwriter, and after the gig he came out to chat with everyone at the bar! Fantastic night!

Im off to Meat Loaf (M.E.N Arena) in may should be good!

So whats the best gig you have ever been to and why?

hmm I have to pick the best one? Well... Well I have two.. no wait three, when I saw Hawthorne Heights in Lodon, it was immense.. and we met them after and AIDEN were also there for some reason and I met WiL Francis.. also I saw BFS in London last month and it was great, I had a meet and greet pass and watched the bands soundcheck and chatted to them.. great shows, they were also filming heir new video that day so I was in that., just generaly good atmosphere..When I went to eh Astoria for the first time and saw Billy Talent, most energetic band out there, awesome! Okay so that was a bit of a Rambling, but theres loooads to choose from!

But I am going to see Fall out Boy next monday which I recon might replace it!

Proably Reading Festival, been 3 times, tho think i've grown out of now. Such a good atmosphere even when it's raining. Seen some really good bands right on my doorstep. Green Day last time I went was fantastic, there's just so much going on, just a fantastic time, if you like that sort of thing.

Meat Loaf at Wembly was a good one too, he's a performer

Oooh Meatloaf not this this Saturday but the one after! Excited!

Anyone else been to any recently?

There's radio one big weekend in my home town of Preston soon, I have applied for tickets but there's hardly any chance, over 200,000 people have applied and theres only 7,500 pairs each day! Although they do say the majority will go to those in the Preston area...

Haven't been to any recently but I'll be going to see Rod Stewart at Hampden 9 weeks tonight which I'm really looking forward to even though I've seen him live 5 times previously.

The only one I can remember lively is when I saw my idol perform in 1999. It is Kenny Rogers (yes I am a country fan) and he came to Holland on the first of May in 1999.
I could not get tickets here in Belgium, so I called the organizer of that evening and he promised me that my tickets would be waiting at the reception. And true, they were!
It were not numbered seats, so you could sit down wherever you liked. I was sitting somewhere in the middle. I can assure you, by the time that Kenny got up stage, I could not control myself and I went up to the stage. I stood there the whole show with trembling legs. :D
This way I stood only 1 meter away from him. The security guys did not even come to me. They probably thought: 'Oh, look a crazy fan. Let's give her the pleasure before she has to return back to the mental institution.' :?
The best show ever (for me of course) !!!

I was speaking to a woman on Thursday who has paid £100+ for a ticket to see George Michael next Sunday (17th June), I don't know whether I like someone that much to pay the kinda money.

It's just under 4 weeks now 'till I go to see Rod@Hampden, I'm really looking forward to it.

One of the best concerts I attended was Tina Turner, she was fabulous. Cher was good but not on stage actually singing long enough for the money paid. She changed costumes too regularly.

The artist I was most disappointed in was Ronan Keating, he was distinctly average.

I'd like to see Neil Diamond and Prince live.

Yes, it's Rod Stewart. This will be my 6th time seeing him in concert. He's on stage for between 2 and 2 and a half hours which is fantastic. I'm not too fussed on the American Songbook albums although I have 2 of them.

I paid £136 for 2 tickets although £16 of that is the booking fees etc which is an absolute con.

Yeha the whole booking thing annoys me so much! Well I hope you enjoy Rod Stewart! Let us know how it went! And ther amount of time he stays on for it brilliant, seen as he isn't getting any younger!
