Booked up for Kenny Rogers at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Thursday June 10th, Heidi is coming over for the gig. Hopefully it starts and finishes on time, 11.30pm is the last train home to Glasgow. Being stuck in Edinburgh unnecessarily would be the ultimate nightmare!

Ah, if we are stuck in Edinburgh than we just sleep at the train station on the floor. Perhaps we can take a sleeping bag with us just in case hahahhaha.
I'm already looking forward to it.

PS: our band 'Noons' give a big live show on April 30th! Keep on checking our Myspace on www.myspace.com/noonstheband

Tomorrow night, I'm off to see Rod Stewart live at the SECC Glasgow, I've read lots of excellent reviews regarding his 2010 tour. He's frequently on stage for 2 hours+ which is pretty good for an ageing rocker, would put many modern artists/bands to shame.

Rod, you are a musical genius! A performer who radiates the stage and initiates enormous reaction/feedback from his audience, he had 10,000 people in the palm of his hand. Rod gig No.7 for me tonight and already I'm in no doubt No.8 will occur in due course.

Wake up Maggie, I think I've got something to say to you....................... :clapping:

JLS at the SECC April 5th, 2012 - my niece in Australia likes the guys and she'll be home. It's being kept a surprise until then.

Irish folk singer Christy Moore at the Liverpool Philharmonic on April 7th, such a magnificant songwriter and performer, I'm taking for granted this concert hall is a superb arena deserving of such a star turn.

Haley, unfortunately :( isn't home from Oz yet so my sister went with me to JLS - an interesting and positive experience, the guys put on a fab show. The audience was prominently made of of teenage & younger girls which wasn't a surprise, it did make me feel all my 39 years!

Though a seated gig, most people stood which was a slight nuisance for someone of restricted height  like me.
