You will definitely be informed as this site was the first place I found out Simon was to appear in the theatre :)

The Unexpected Guest is comming (or it may have been) to Preston Guild Hall, it would of been amazing if Simon had been in it!

Ok it's not quite theater, but in Reading we have the ruins of the old Abbey, and every summer for the past 7, I think, years they put on Shakespear on, outdoors. You take a picnic blanket sit on the ground and watch. They're doing a Mid Summer's Night Dream this year, and I think it would be really good if I go, it's a fantastic setting to do it in. No-one famous in it, I think it's amature theatre aswell, I just really want to see a Shakespear play live at some point in my life.

I recently joined this theatre group and have done sound, Bar and Front of House. I am doing hte bar for the first three nights of this production and Front of house another night. I love going to the thatre and m going up next week to see The Sound of Music for my birthday treat. I am also going up a couple of weeeks later to see WICKED hopefully or something else with my friend.

I went to see 42nd Street last night and it was fabulous, the dancing & singing was superb and the costumes were absolutely gorgeous. What a show it was!

I'd love to see West Side Story, has anyone seen it already?

I went to see MAgic at the musicals in november at the local theatre and I really enjoyed it! I'm going to see WICKED in Feb with one of my best friends and Joseph in May with another best friend and then Hamlet with hopefully David Tennent in it at the RSC in Stratford in September. But I'm also seeing things at my drama group.

Luv Meg

I'd be quite happy to go to the theatre on Thursday being a Bridget Jones type singleton, Richard Gere tried to tempt me out to dinner but I politely refused his offer! Ha Ha.

There's a couple of shows that I'd like to see but am, as yet, undecided whether to purchase tickets. Sleuth is going to be the big one for 2008 though - can't wait.

We went to see Metamorphosis at the Lowry absoloutly fantastic!! Loved it! Really really good! Not at all as I expected. Its about a family who's son work really hard for them, he pays for everything then because of this he turns into a beetle, but its all physical theatre (the beetle bit) the man who played him must of been so strong! A few comical moments to lift the mood at some point, was avery moving ending....had a quite a few people in tears!

I went to the theatre this evening with my aunt to see a show called The Emperor's New Kilt and it was pure s***, we left at the interval. One of the performer's parts was to play a sheep and if he "Bah'd" once more, I wouldn't have been accountable for my actions!

The bonus point was spotting a promotional pamphlet for Sleuth, I picked up 4 of them. Plenty of yummy pictures of Simon, it's wetted my appetite even more for seeing the show.

I just got back from seeing Jimmy Carr (which was in a theatre so therefor goes in this topic!)

He was so funny!! Right up my street! Very blunt, crude, abusive at times, but still hilarious in my opinion.
I met him after and got nervous and just stuttered and mumbled whilst he talked to me!
