Did you also have to learn the meaning of the words 'Moderato' and 'Adante' and so on?
Years ago (more than 20 years) I went to a music school and I had to learn all these things. I hated that.
And music history... pff, that did not intrest me much.

Do you want to play an instrument as well?
Which one would you choose?

Oh, OK. That is more than enough :)
I play the guitar. I also used to play clarinet and trumpet, but that was years ago.

We should all come together and play along with each other.
Perhaps we can start a band.
Of course we must find a suiting name for it.
How about 'The Simon's Clan'
If anyone else has other ideas for a band name, just let us know.

How did you find the LIT paper? When I opened it I almost cried! It was so hard and the questions made no sense.. so I just rambled and put loads of big words in and I hope I get some marks for using intelligent language haha

I found it ok, I wouldn't say easy but it certainly was do-able!
I answered the question on how 'Of Mice and Men' was a sad novel, and then for section B I answered the bottom question on poetry where you compare one to another, one comparing how you feel sympathy for the reader and the other how you feel disturbed, now that will only make sense to Kerri lol!

Yeh, I did that Mice and Men question, it was slightly easier than the passage one, I just rambled about lonliness and isolation, I think that was the right thing to do!
What poets did you say you did? I did Duffy and Armitage, and the question I chose was the first one about comparing "kid" and 3 others, but two had to be Pre-1914. The main problem was, I didn't know what any of the Pre 1914 poems meant because they were written in old english, and so I made up what I thought they meant, then rambled about them, hopefully they wont notice lol.. But I gotta get bonus marks for using big words like "juxtaposition" and "protagonist" hehe

I did Duffy and Armatige but the one with Ben Johnson's 'My last sonne' or something along them lines! I understood them though, thankfully lol! I did ramble a bit though. And ended up drifting off topic on the 'Of Mice and Men' question, I started a rant about the american dream, the government and it's lies! Ah well!

LOL?! the Government! How an earth did you slip that in?! I wrote about the historical context of the book but thats it, I just said America was in economical depression and moved on !

I reckon we've both done rather well! I reckon I will get a B

Oooooh 'Of Mice and Men' I love that book, in fact it's probably the only book I've ever read, oh that and Richard La Plante's travels on a Harley - Hog Fever.
