Oooooh 'Of Mice and Men' I love that book, in fact it's probably the only book I've ever read, oh that and Richard La Plante's travels on a Harley - Hog Fever.

What?! You've only read one book? Like, ever?

That's strange to me, I own a ton of books, I love to read, just don't read as wide or as much as I should. Have not read Of Mice or Men tho *hides*

I really find it hard to get into a book so I tend not to bother. It's probably got something to do with the fact I can't sit still long enough.

I did try to read Grapes of Wroth, but I kept losing my place and ended up reading the same part 5 times so gave up.

I problem, I lose my place then re read the same bit, but I don't realise that I'm reading the bit again as it never really registered the first time! The only reading I do is Kerrang! and that's a music magazine

I bought a book yesterday called 'My side of the story' by Will Davis. I's really good, very funny. I'm just past halfway already though, becuase I couldn't sleep last night (chest infection!) and its quite thick!
I don't read much so I've decided I should, I quite enjoy it!
I sometimes read Kerrang, not bought it for a while though!

Back to exams though, I've been revising maths and graphics this morning, oh how boring it is!!

I am now reading the book 'The Beach Road' by Sarah Diamond.
It is translated into Dutch.
When I was younger, I think I read all the books of Agatha Christie.
I also like the books of CSI. And now I am writing thrillers myself. People who read them say that they are very good. Unfortunately for you, they are in Dutch.

I need to rant about how maths is the most pointless stupid subject there is! We have our maths exam tomorrow, and all I know is pie r squared, hmm I don't think that is likely to get me through the exam! Whats the point in maths, we are never going to use any of this stuff again. Me and Becky have decided there is no hope, as we can't even multiply!

The most pointless exam I ever had to take was History. Maybe it's just my ignorance of what battles happened 300 years ago or whatever but I couldn't have cared any less. Present and future any the only tenses that I bother about.

Maths - I just didn't understand it. Failed miserably at it.

I was very lazy with both my GCSE's and A Levels didn't revise at all, used to go out and play football/basketball with my friend, we could alwasy convince each other to not study. I felt bad when she got slightly worse grades on a few subjects

Actually all my grades were not too bad considering I went to the 8th worst school in the country (I'm not kidding) so if I can do well at that school, anyone can do well if they try!

Too many distractions to revise! But it isn't really revising, it is more like learning 'cos I know nothing. I have history on Friday, I agree it is pointless, I don't care who did what!

Kerri, 0 on math is not so bad unsure.gif
You should actually get 1 point for at least reading the questions and try to make sense of them. Another point you should get is for writing your name correctly on the form.
I should complaint if I were you :)

The last exam I took was 2 years ago this month, it was my practical driving test which I passed. It made the previous 2 years of practical & theory learning and vast financial outlay worth it.

At various points, I didn't think I'd come to a successful outcome but with perseverance, it just goes to show what can be achieved.

Be confident in your abilities friends.
