Firstly, wasn't it great that Casualty won the award at the Bafta Award Ceremony? Do you reckon that the trophy may appear in some background capacity in a future episode?

My main point was how handsome Simon looked, roll on his return to Holby E.D.

I nearly fell off my chair, was so surprised they got it, about time too. I had said to someone a few hours before Casualty will never win it, it always goes to the soaps, I very please to eat my words.

If anyone missed it I'm planning on doing a video clips of it as soon as the forum is all sorted.

Yes Simon did look nice last night. Apart from Ian, Suzanne and Simon who else of the cast was there? I only spotted those three as I wasn't paying too much attention

The lovely Georgina was there, she was very pretty. It reminded me of how much I enjoyed them together but I will say I'm into the Harry & Selena relationship now.

It was a really nice surprise too that Casualty won, they all looked so proud standing up there on the stage and so they should.
Simon looked lovely in his waistcoat and bow tie. Was his waistcoat his family tartan?
Well done to Casualty! The award winning show.

If the waistcoat was his family tartan, I'm 99% sure it would be the MacLeod of Lewis version. I read a magazine interview in which he referred to a strong MacLeod tartan and Isle of Lewis connection.

I've sent him a few MacLeod of Lewis tartan gifts.

Wow! I bet he really liked those gifts, he seems so proud of his Scottish heritage.

Yes, he gets that from his father by all accounts. I bet his dad would be proud of his contribution to Casualty winning this award and to see him on stage wearing the family tartan. Hopefully someone will clarify the background of his waistcoat.

Simon has certainly been involved in some major storylines since joining the cast in June 2002, I bet the celebrations within Casualty HQ today would have been nice 'n' jolly.

I did not see the awards, but I am very happy to hear that they won an award.
I look forward to the video clips on this forum.

I would have loved Simon to have made the acceptance speech although Ian Bleadsdale (Josh) was fine. We're all kinda biased towards Simon - or we wouldn't access Shelliwood as regularly as we do - and I'll reiterate how good he looked.

Simon rocks Baby!

Go to youtube and insert Casualty at the Baftas as your keywords, you'll see it there Becky.

Not a problem my friend. Sharing Simon related good news stories is why we're all regular visitors to this site. I wouldn't be aware or have access to lots of tv & newspaper articles etc if it wasn't for Shelliwood and Lonna.
