I've had it on in the background but not giving it my full attention, it's more fun if one or more of the UK countries are involved. If Scotland had qualified, do you think I could've got a game?

That HUGE chain in the background make you look tiny :P

Yeah I'm not that interested - don't want Portuagal to win but not fussed if anyone else does - will probably watch it during the quarters or later

I didn't notice Ronaldo crying but I don't suppose he'll be too bothered should he earn his approx. £200,000+ per week wage packet at Real Madrid. Not bad for kicking a ball about a grass park!

I'd like to see Holland win Euro 2008 because they're such a fantastic team to watch, their supporters are very colourful also. A major football tournament without any UK team involvement is still pretty boring, the interest level is bordering on Nil.

Anyway, for the 1st time in 14 seasons I'm NOT going to have a season ticket for Celtic next season. One thing for sure, I'll not miss the typical wednesday evening in January/February sitting in the p*****g rain totally frozen.

Given your glowing description, I can see why you might choose to forgo the season ticket!

In my crazier moments, I recall enjoying the hospitality of a small village near Aberdeen on Boxing day and being at the beach - in the snow! The crowd of us had a great laugh though.

Some footballers are fine specimens of men which makes it well worthwhile on occasions, even if the match is rubbish.
