Regarding the article in yesterday's Sunday Express, I wouldn't like to believe that she would be selfish with regards to Simon. Just probably a tuned in business woman involved with an expensive hobby and acknowledging that it requires both their well earned salaries.

I'm sure the foundations to their personal, business and professional success is based on mutual respect and appreciation of their limitations.

I didn't think that was too selfish sounding either, I figured that most women spend 90% of their husbands money anyway  - besides she's done a fair amount of earning in the past which would balance it out now. Besides I think Simon would do anything to make sure she's happy, and if she's, he's happy - that's the impression I get

I don't gauge a negative aspect in that particular article either to be honest but I guess it's a matter of interpretation. I believe the photograph indicates a couple who are still crazy in love with each other 23 years of married life down the line who support each other in every aspect of their personal and professional lives. Both of them appear to realise that they're continuing to build on the foundations of a successful stud farm which requires a large percentage of their incomes.

They look a fantastic and loving couple, both of them very attractive people.

I agree with Shelli on this. Susan would have had money from her past credits, after all she was very successful and I think if she wanted to, she could get another role quite easily. I'm sure there are many out there who would love to be the one to bring her back to the main screen. She was quite the pin up and probably still is.

She does look gorgeous in that Sunday Express photograph with Simon and like Nikki said, she could easily bag herself a part in one of the popular tv dramas or film if she so wishes. If you recall, she was in Eastenders in 2001.

I found something interesting in my post today! A flyer from the Windsor Royal Theatre:

Murder On Air 22/04/08 - 03/05/08

The Biggest Stars Perform in Agatha Christie's Murder On Air

World Premier - Live On Stage

This is a unique opportunity to hear three gripping radio thrillers from the Queen of Crime, read in an authentic studio setting with live sound effects and in the style of thier original BBC broadcasts

For each performance two special guest stars take to the stage. They join a full supporting company of actors to perform three of Christie's classic radio plays.

28th and 29th April - Susan George (and Simon Shepherd (would have been better if it were our Corks))
TV, film and theatre star Susan George has been a screen icon ever since Straw Dogs, and makes a welcome return to Windsor.

Sweet - Go Susan!

I noticed a question in the Showbiz Sam section of the Daily Record tv magazine asking for Susan's date of birth & is she married - God, someone doesn't know who she's married to! Mmmm!
