It probably wont be very easy, but that does not mean that you can't succeed.
Like you said, put some hard work in it and you can do everything that you want.

Today's the big day Becky, have a great time on your 1st day in your new job. How did your training day go on Thursday?

Go 'n' sock it to them and prove that you can be a star.

Thankyou for remembering! :)

Training went fine on Thursday, everyone's really nice that works there, they then asked me to work yesterday so I worked 8.30 til 5, that was ok, had my first angry customer, she went ape at me, but I sorted it in the end!
And today i'm workin 2-6, hope it still goes ok, you wouldnt think its hard but it is, and tiring, you have to remember where everything is, and BHS is BIG! lol!

Buts it's money all the same!

Mind and let us know how the job is going.

It was very busy on Saturday! Luckily only worked the afternoon! I'm working next on Saturday because I've been on holiday, so that means I won't have worked for like two weeks! (Not the best way to start off a new job, but it was booked before hand, and there wasn't a problem with me going) :)

I have a job interview Sunday morning, then I go on holiday Sunday night, I'm glad I get it out the way before I go on holiday!

I certainly wish you good luck on the interview.
And a nice holiday as well.

What kind of job is it?

I think it is normal that you are a bit nervous. I also think that being a bit nervous is not too bad. It can make you more alert. But of course being nervous that the sweat is running down from your face is not good. Certainly not when you are applying for a job in a restaurant, not very hygianic
Good luck anyway, just be yourself (or not? Are you the type that throws with dishes?) and everything will work out just fine.

I start a week after my holiday so basicaly August, which is good, the guy was really nice, it wasn't really an interview, more him talking at me for 15 minutes with me nodding hehe Sounds like it could be cool, I get to use all the leisure facilities at the place for free, can I bring myself to do exercise? I think not.
