Just found this on a review (by Paul Thomas) on Joe Harmston's (Director) site about The Unexpected Guest play and thought you might like to know...

"MacCorkindale is one of this country's most understated but virile actors. Perfect for this play."

"Menacing, brooding and central to moving the plot along at a pace, his casting was important."

The Unexpected Guest with Simon was apparently breaking box office records on tour in the UK.

Way to go Simon. :clapping:

Lets hope the next play is as successful.

Whoohoo!! :drinks: I drink to that.
I am sure that Sleuth will just be as good. It has to be with Simon in it.
Even if the play sucks, it still be good as long as I can see Simon in person.

Simon being in Sleuth is THE central factor on whether I go to see this play, these reviews is a reflection on what we already know. I'm sure he'll excell in all his forthcoming projects after Casualty.

What, that he's menacing and brooding?
I hope they wasn't referring to him hatching eggs. LMAO

I wonder how he feels about being referred to as a "film and TV veteran" in some write ups. I wouldn't have thought he was old enough to be classed as a veteran yet. :P

*runs off before getting battered*

I have no comment other than, he's definitely under-rated

The Unexpected Guest with Simon was apparently breaking box office records on tour in the UK.

I think, from what I've read, he get's much better reviews from anything he does on stage compared to TV and film.

9/10 theatre reviews I've read have been good (over various time periods) while with TV/film it's generally 7/10 that are bad, which is such a shame as he is a good actor and has proved it on a number of occassions.

So I'm really looking forward to any reviews on Slueth as I know muct of them are going to be good and praising Simon which he so deserves. I hope he breaks box office records again, and really proves to people what he's capable of

I'm sure that the reviews on Sleuth will be very good. Simon is a brilliant actor. As he has proved with The Unexpected Guest (which I sadly could not see) he is as good on stage as on TV.
Simon deserves to be considered as a very talented actor.
For us he certainly is!!
Simon, if you read this, keep on rockin' man!!
