A question for the next person to do this? : If you were invisible for the day, what would you do? (my question doesn't compare to Simon's)
Question from previous person: Simon - How much do you value the spoken word as apposed to all modern means of communications?
This question confused me..It's worded like the questions on the AS level history exam papers!
Spoken word is important! One reason being that if we didn't use spoken word to solve problems, then they would never be sorted. Also if somebody says something to your face, there is a certain genuineness about it that you otherwise wouldn't get through other methods, so with spoken word, comes trust and conviction; so I value it for those two reasons. But modern communications, ie. Texting, IM'ing etc.. are easier, but can be somewhat, misleading and meaningless at times..
