It's a pity that he didn't make it. 6-3 / 6-2 and 6-4, that shows that Nadal was way over his league.

Yes not good result but never mind Murray is still only young and he will come back better and stronger he has done very well but in the end was out played well done Murray.

Andy's only 21 so I guess he's got plenty of time to win Wimbledon and/or another major grand slam tournament, sometimes you have to admit the superior qualities of your opponent. Nadal's straight sets victory tells it's own story.

In my opinion he's an excellent player yes, but he's got plenty of time, practice a bit more before next year then maybe next year he'll get a chance.

Well, it is clear to me that you all like him, so I do hope he has more luck next year.
(I just have to say this otherwise I get all the rage from you over me)

With Nadal not participating in Wimbledon 2009, that's one major obstacle Andy Murray doesn't need to overcome although Federer is a massively talented player to compete against whether that be directly or not. I wish Andy all the best - just do your best and give it a right good go.

Good luck to Andy Murray for Wimbledon 2010 tho he does play Rafa Nadal in the semi final, should he win this match there's a good chance of winning his 1st major grand slam tournament. Federer was beaten by Czech player Berdych in the quarters which was a surprise outcome.

I'll probably avoid Andy's game until it's finished, somehow I get alot more nervous when you're desperate for a particular outcome - fingers, toes and everything else will be crossed. C'mon Andy. :)
